The Kafue River is one of Zambia’s major Rivers. This river has, on the boundary between Kafue District in Lusaka Province and Chikankata District in Southern Province, the Avumba Menda Falls. The falls is 43.9Km downstream from the Kafue River Bridge South-East of Kafue town.
