Milenge District is one of the districts in Luapula Province that have one or more waterfalls. The district shares its boundaries with Chembe, Mansa and Samfya districts, as well as the DR Congo.
The Mumbotuta falls in Milenge District lies on the Luapula River, the district’s and Zambia’s boundary with the DR Congo. It’s 41Km west of Milenge town and 1.2Km off the Milenge Chembe road at Musolo village.
