Tourists travelling between Mansa, the provincial capital of Luapula Province in Zambia and Mwense, a district center within the province 109Km away, can view the Mambilima, Mumbuluma and Musonda Water Falls. All three in less than 3hrs.
The turn to the Mumbuluma Falls on the Luamfumu River is 2Km from the bridge on this river on the northern side and the Falls itself 8.1Km from the highway. The Musonda Falls is only 200 meters from the bridge downstream on the Luongo River, near the Musonda Falls Power Station. The Mambilima Falls (Johnston Falls) on the Luapula River (the boundary between the DR Congo and Zambia) is 900 meters from the highway at Lopi Villave, 1.6Km south east of Mulundu.
